Now

I heard a friend recently say, "If we are going to do anything; now is the time." This drew my mind to something I had written in my journal over two years ago.

This is what I wrote:

The Lord has been ministering to my spirit about Now. We are always in the state of now. Regardless, of how you tried you could not recapture the last moment you lived. There is not enough gold or silver in the world to purchase it. There is no need to beg or plead or it. It is gone. But you have now.

Even the future, although with the grace of God,  you are headed for it you cannot purchase to be there before it becomes now. You live in the Now. Therefore, if anything is going to happen it is now. Understanding this, we can see why faith is  now. It is an active, always present force and now is present.

When we are asked the question, "Where do you live?" perhaps our reply should be, "Now." It is our residence. We cannot escape it. It is what we have been given. Do not spend your time thinking on the past or the future. We need to believe we can have what we need now. Now is the only time it can happen!
